Simple Creative Ideas for When Life gets Overwhelming

How crazy is it that it’s been a year (well, depending on where you are of course!) since the pandemic forced countries to go into lockdown. We’re still in the middle of the pandemic, international travels are still pretty much non-existent and many of us have not been able to see our loved ones in…

Plants and Paints

Hey guys, it’s been a while! I hope you are all doing well in this new year. I know we’ve been pretty silent in here. For me personally, I’ve been struggling to find a balance between my day job and keeping up with my creative side. On top of that, the pandemic has gotten me…

I started doing bujo ages ago and to me bujo is more than just writing down my plans, but it's also a place to doodle which is great for tension release. I bought myself a Muji notebook, this is my favourite for bujo (last year I tried another brand but it wasn't vibing with me). So, here go 2021! A very Merry Christmas to you all! This holiday is so strange. Missing my sister and cousin, everything is just so quiet and...ordinary I guess. Like all of you, I hope next year will be a bit better. This bright and colourful paper was actually tea package. It's so gorgeous and thought it would be perfect for this week's #olcartprompts theme: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. I put some Aslan quote on the outer ring of the middle layout Wishing I had more time to do journaling 😭😭😭😭

-Variegated Ficus Elastica- Went for a hike last weekend, and came across the Hindhede quarry. Love that Singapore has these peaceful corners in the midst of the bustling city to recharge! It makes for the perfect object for painting too! Still finding it hard to believe it’s already April! Late in posting March’s #paintwithmechallenge, but here it is! What a fun exercise it was! Thoroughly enjoyed painting this teapot filled with plants 😊. As a fan of painting nature and landscape, this urban vignette practice was such a treat. Love the ink and watercolour approach taught by @sharisketcher.
