Fascinating Facades as Art Inspiration

Plants and Paints

Hey guys, it’s been a while! I hope you are all doing well in this new year. I know we’ve been pretty silent in here. For me personally, I’ve been struggling to find a balance between my day job and keeping up with my creative side. On top of that, the pandemic has gotten me…

Christmas Crafts

Well hello there! We know it has been a long time. To be honest, we have been swamped with end of year work. We really wanted to make regular bi-weekly posts but it turns out we were a little too ambitious. We also didn’t really want to put too much burden on ourselves since this…

I started doing bujo ages ago and to me bujo is more than just writing down my plans, but it's also a place to doodle which is great for tension release. I bought myself a Muji notebook, this is my favourite for bujo (last year I tried another brand but it wasn't vibing with me). So, here go 2021! A very Merry Christmas to you all! This holiday is so strange. Missing my sister and cousin, everything is just so quiet and...ordinary I guess. Like all of you, I hope next year will be a bit better. This bright and colourful paper was actually tea package. It's so gorgeous and thought it would be perfect for this week's #olcartprompts theme: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. I put some Aslan quote on the outer ring of the middle layout Wishing I had more time to do journaling 😭😭😭😭

February’s #paintwithmechallenge hosted by @susanchiang_ is of Calla lilys! I believe this is my first time doing a painting of a white flower! Truthfully I’m not very satisfied with how the background turned out and would really like to try again one day soon! But I really enjoyed painting the lilys! If you’ve seen my other paintings you’d know flowers are something I really like! Art is the best medicine! A simple ink and paint portrait of my dwarf sunflower that bloomed in the new year! Did something different this weekend, I painted without much thought of what I wanted the end result to look like. It was simply inspired by random thoughts that I probably had gathered through looking at other artists’ post, what I dream to see when I open my window, desire to travel again and just a general craving for painting sceneries. It was one of those random painting session that took me by surprise honestly, it was enjoyable and I think the result was pretty decent 😋!
